Andrew, Future Tense

Past Perfect takes you back in time to the childhood of Andrew and Kenny or more fondly known as Big Head and Potato head when they were living with their mother in Kulim. Their favourite aunty, Sien is coming for a visit from Singapore and the two boys are going crazy preparing for her highly anticipated arrival. But their mother doesn't seem as impressed as she should be with all their lalang-pulling and garden decorating efforts.

In Future Tense, Desmond delves into the adult versions of Andrew and Kenny, revealing elements of guilt and remorse. Aunty S is holding her 50th birthday party. It is the biggest bash she is throwing - ever - one that will celebrate her life, and everything she stands for. But her three sisters have sent their children to tell her - on the day itself - that they have decided to not show up. At first, Aunty S feigns total bafflement, but soon it becomes obvious that one generation has not been telling the other what has been brewing in the family.

Our first 3 performing shows are over.

And when I usually have ensemble practice tonight and now I'm not, I'm missing something very meaningful, something dear to me.

It's interesting how in just over a month, we've become so close a family, together.
And it's very nice when other people tell us that we are when they look at us, the ensemble, in the spirit of family-ness, even on the stage.

And now I miss everyone, thinking of them in the midst of being in college, doing my studies, etc.

And it all started when Capri was down with H1N1.
I mean, missing her for about a week plus in mid-April makes rehearsals feel lacking of something.
And I believe that from then on, we glued together easily, never letting anyone go.
Even when Alexis came in during Capri's absence, we warmed up to her really fast, and so did she to us.

And I guess it's true what Alex and Chris said about us, this year's ensemble.
Our strength lies in having one another, each other; in other words, being a family.
And it is really a powerful tool that we have.
And most importantly, we must all stay humble, as what Alex said.
Our humility is what keeps us grounded and down to earth and it is very powerful also.

The sad thing after this show, is that we're not going to work as an ensemble again anymore. We'll be split up for Past Perfect/Future Tense,
for Buried Child/Crave,
and for Twelfth Night/Lab.
It is sad indeed, after loving the feeling of working together
and now we have to separate.

But never mind! I'm looking forward to a new start in college, anyways! Had to settle my subjects registration today (it was soooooo hectic, especially Millie >.< TO COMPENSATE MY 2 WEEK HIATUS FROM BLOGGING (which should never exist, considering I had holiday XD) I decided to make up for it by promoting the Season Opening Show of T4YP Season 2010!

“Science experiments and boys. First, you come up with a hypothesis: you have an idea of what’s going on and what might happen, but you need to test it out. You come up with methods, procedures, which comes first. Then the experimenting begins. Action and reaction. Some reactions, you can predict, and others, you have no idea how it happens. Confusion. The results aren’t quite what you expect. Before you repeat from square one, you discuss and analyse with other scientists, preferable experienced ones. The cycle continues until you reach a conclusion. Unless the results are too random, then you abandon everything completely.”

The T4YP Ensemble present the first-fruits of their work as an ensemble in these workshop performances directed by T4YP Team member, Alex Chua (What Does It Mean To Be Free?).

T4YP’s SEASON 2010 opens with The 100-Words Project, an eclectic collections of scenes and monologues where each performer has exactly only 100-words to say his or her piece. How much can you say with only a 100-words? More than you think.

Okay, what is this whole 100-words Project is alllll about, huh?

As aforementioned, the 100-Words Project is a collection of scenes and monologues/duologues of 100 words in length each. So, NOOOO this whole show is not only in 100 words, for those wondering ._. and, NOOOO it's not just each person one by one saying something 100 words in length -.- It's like, there are monologues, duologues, and even where 4 or 5 members carry out a scene 100 words in length. Each scene is interlinked with another scene, and the whole show revolves around a central idea, which is ******** (not gonna tell you! Spoiler alertttt >.<) As a bonus, we throw in a little dance for you guys. YES, JUST YOU GUYS WHO WILL WATCH US. Those who aren't won't know what they are missing, and should just drink some eggs and die ;D

What is this Theater for Young People (T4YP) supposed to be? =\

Since 2008, klpac’s Theatre For Young People (T4YP) programme has been providing a platform for young people to express themselves by creating meaningful theatre.

Season 2010 runs for a period of six months from April to September and features three mainstage productions in Pentas 2 and a 2-week season of experimental theatre in the Indicine. Throughout the season, compulsory weekly rehearsals will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights as well as Saturday afternoons.

Ohhhh, so it's MEANINGFUL theater for brats like us.

Okay, keep talking, I'm interested. How am I supposed to go to KLPac? I don't know where that is ._.

Haha! Not surprised with this question, though. Here's an attached map to the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre!

As you can see, KLPac is located along the long stretch of Jalan Ipoh madness. 2 ways you can come in: either from Jalan Kuching, if you're coming from KL, or Jalan Duta, if you're coming from PJ on the way to Bangsar.

IF YOU'RE UNABLE TO NAVIGATE YOUR WAY EVEN WITH THE MAP, there is still the option of KTM Komuter ;)

If you're coming from KL Sentral, the train to Sentul is every 30 minute intervals, from let's say 12.15 and 12.45 and so on. It's advisable to come in 10 minutes earlier just to play it safe. From then on, it's a 15 minute ride to Sentul KTM.

Upon reaching Sentul KTM, you can take a cab to Sentul West all the way to KLPac itself, although it will cost you 10 bucks *gasps* so you might wanna share it with some mates to save monehhh.

ALTERNATIVELY, there is a shortcut to KLPac from the back of the station where there is a small opening to the park. You have to cross thr railway tracks to go there (don't worry, no more trains will arrive after this one stops, so you won't dai) There will be a guard watching by so it's safe! x)

*gulps* How much per entry is this show? And where do I get tickets?

Typical cheap ~~Chinese~~Malaysian. ENTRY IS BY MINIMUM DONATION OF RM10. It will be performed at the Indicine, 2nd floor of the centre. The space can fit roughly 100 plus people, so come early and grab good seats!

Hoho, now I'm REALLY psyched up! What happens after the show?

We will be having light refreshments outside the Indicine, and the ensemble members will be outside too to entertain questions and queries (and autographs, chewah). After that, baliklah :)

Man, I can't come for one of the days! WHAT DO I DOOOOO?

Sigh, this week has been hectic for me. Studying for finals, meetings, ensemble practice and what not...

But I made it through! :D And I lost my blogging mojo, AGAIN ._. I am quite lazy atm so yeah, maybe next week when I start blogging properly? I do have lots to say about lots of stuff >.<

Oh, and I'm quite excited for tomorrow's photo shoot! 1920s theme, smexy much ;D

iris, night vision.

Again one of those longggggg days I have without rest D: but it was a very memorable one for me. Very.

Let's start from the beginning, yes?

Act 1 - School Magazine Workshop (SASA) @ HUC

Woke up about 6.30 am, had a quick bath, tuna spread on bread and headed off to college. Arrived considerably quite early, helped to set up some stuff around, as usual. After that, things just got under way la, more or less.

SASA people are nice people, really. I'm just baffled why some dislike them or feel inferior to them (I'm mostly reflecting the sentiments of Foundation SASA-rians, considering we are the minority in it). Actually, I don't think they have time feeling all superior and all; come on, they are A-Level kids and have so much more work than us, plus their mocks is coming up soon, and to top it all off they have to clock off their hours doing donkey job.

But when we gather to events like these, everyone is seen equal. Nobody is greater or smaller than anybody. At least that's how I feel, la. To each his own.

Like yesterday, I got to know more about my fellow Foundation SASA kids, in terms of interaction level. People like Alex, Wai Sin, Xiau Wei, Soo Mei and others; they're all nice people, just that it all takes time to get acquainted and comfortable with each other.

And the A-Level kids. I mean, considering they're in SASA for the experience with other people, surely they too will try to be friendly and interact with other people, no? So far, they are really nice; people like May, Daph, Carys, Chip, Jing Li, a whole lot of others, hardly put up a domineering front like 'oh, I'm way cooler than you, don't talk to me, you have face problem' and stuff like that.

I always say give things time and sleep on it. Don't get bothered too much. Sometimes that's the problem with us. We get so bothered over petty things.

Oh, and I met a March intake A-Level kid. His name is Ding. An hour later, his English name is Julius o.O I wish I could take a picture of him with his post-NS cut, but it wasn't convenient that time lol.

May got curtains! ;D

Back to the workshop, it was kinda cool seeing school kids again ;D and saw some really cute people, except they're slightly taller than me or REALLY tall ;O

Couldn't stay for long for the whole event. So after lunch break, I had to leave. FOR MY.....

Act 2 - T4YP Auditions @ KLPac

It was about 11.00 that I received a message from Dan if I can record their performance in BOTB, which I will talk about later. He said his act is the last, about 10.30. So I can roughly take my time to go back and take my camcorder after auditions. Then again, lunch ended at 1.30, and my audition's at 4.30. You may think 3 hours is more than enough time, but bear in mind I have to take public transport. Even if I can drive back to home, I still need to take the train to Sentul, and I'm very ulu Sentul area. Probably been there once but I don't pay attention ma.

2.10 - reached home, took a quick shower, packed my stuff and left to KJ Station.

2.50 - reached KL Sentral, bought my ticket for the Sentul train departing at 3.15, chilled at McDs while going through my monos.

3.40 - reached Sentul station, and felt completely ulu after that. I was told I could walk to KLPac from the Sentul station but I don't see it anywhere... ._. But I was prepared to take a cab to go there la. One offered me 10 bucks to go there (I thought they're supposed to follow the meter! ;O) But I didn't wanna haggle too much so yeah, I took it. Drove off to the main road and went into the park, which is freakin' huge, btw.

And yes, as expected, when I arrived the meter was just 6 bucks plus. Meh. I just paid the main 50, no questions asked. Gave me change. Turns out he gave me 5 10 bucks notes. ZOMG my first free taxi ride! :D Dungu driver huhuhuhuhu.

Omg, the place is BEAUTIFUL :O it's so rustic, yet so modern and contemporary, chic and stylish (like I said, ulu Sentul area) I was at a lost for words gahhhh.

So anyways, I proceeded upstairs to the Indicine where the auditions was held. Was surprised to see Ry-Ann, my junior, there! :D So THAT'S why she was asking on my Facebook! But yeah, it was somewhat relaxing, in a way, to see someone familiar. So we talked about school and CF camp and stuff like that while waiting. She was the last one for audition in her time slot.

Still, during that whole period of time, I felt there's a horde of butterflies in my stomach just waiting for me to puke them out and scare the hell out of Ashraf (my liaison, nice guy!). I had to walk up and down the walkway, swing my hands a bit while reciting and praying to God for uber calmness in me. Even the others waiting for the group audition was encouraging me and saying that I should just stay calm and have fun. Heehee, I gave a nervous laugh, but it was genuine! ;O

I was waiting if there were any other people auditioning with me for the group one, but there was no one, and I was all alone... well, not really since the judges went for a little break and there were lotsa people outside talking and laughing and such. I didn't really wanna get distracted so I kept on reciting my lines and staying calm too.

Then someone acknowledge me,

"I don't know who you are, but you seem very nervous. Just stay calm, and have fun!"

Little did I know it was Belinda Hon. It was hard to notice at first but yeahhhh it was Belinda Hon.

And she was like "ZOMG HOW YOU KNOWS ME?!" "Yeah, you were with T4YP last year, right? Thought you looked familiar in the papers and websites and all."
And then she started telling loudly to one of the judges that I'm a Belinda Hon groupie ;O I was like "Hoookay, I didn't say ANYTHINGGGG mannnnn *nervous laughter* she just pulled me in it!"

So yeah, I had to wait until the judges were ready. I think I almost had a panic attack, I wouldn't be surprised. When Ashraf called for me, I breathed in deeply and exhaled deeply. Whatever will be, will be, lah!

Hmmm, judges (altogether 5) were really friendly! I didn't really get their names, but there was 4 men and a lady, all with that experienced look on their faces *quivers*

The head judge said in the beginning "Alright, just to give you guys a heads up, this guy is secretly a Belinda Hon groupie, soooo, that's a BIGGG cross on his sheet." I was like, repeat quote above more vehemently :S Haha, but I know they were just joking. So they asked me some questions like, why are you here, what makes you interested, where are you from, what are the skills so you think acting requires, and so on. I answered them accordingly and quite convincingly, I think =/

Then I had to do my monos. My Shakespeare first from As You Like It, Jaques (Act II, Scene VII, lines 139-166) :-

All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms; And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good capon lin'd, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; And so he plays his part.

My serious monologue, Shawshank Redemption (Red, played by Morgan Freeman) :-

Red: Rehabilitated? Well, now, let me see. You know, I don't have any idea what that means ... I know what you think it means, sonny. To me, it's just a made-up word. A politician's word, sonny. Young fellas like yourself can wear a suit and a tie and have a job. What do you really want to know? Am I sorry for what I did? ... There's not a day goes by I don't feel regret. Not because I'm in here. Because you think I should. I look back on the way I was then. A young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I wanna talk to him. I wanna try to talk some sense to him. Tell him the way things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone and this old man's all that's left. I gotta live with that. Rehabilitated? That's just a bullshit word. So you go on and stamp your form, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because, to tell you the truth, I don't give a shit.

My comedic monologue, School of Rock (Dewey Finn, played by Jack Black) :-

"You wanna hear my song? I'll play you my song, if you wanna hear it. Thing is, I just want you to keep in mind, I wrote it in, like, 15 minutes. And, uh, it's not done yet...Okay, I will sing it for you, just let me get into the zone first...Okay, it starts off at the stage, and then a beam of light, and you can see me and my guitar, *sings riff* 'In the end of time, there was a man who knew the road, and the writing, was written, on a stone' And then a thin layer of fog comes around my ankles. Roadies, that's dry ice, we're gonna talk about this later, okay? 'In the ancient time, an artist led the way, but no one, seem to understand' Chimes, Freddy. 'In his heart he knew, the artist must be true, but the legend of the rent was way past due' And then Katie, you come over with the bass. *sings bass riff* 'Well you think you'd be just fine, without me, but you're mine! You think you can, kick me out of the band?' And then Zack, you come on with the face melter. *sings bass riff* Okay? 'Well, there's just one problem there, the band is mine! How can you kick me out of what is mine~?' And then, the Hawaii-Five-O, you know that show? Well, there's a drum solo in it that goes like *sings drum solo* so I want you to play that, kay? 'Well, you're not hardcore, unless you live hardcore' And this is the part I want the backup singers to be, like 'Well you're not hardcore *harmonizes* unless you live hardcore *harmonizes*, but the legend, of the rent, was WAY HARDCORE!' Boom! Big 'ol explosion! Some confetti thing-like comes down... And that's all I got so far, it's a work in progress."

I think I did well lol. The judges laughed at my last mono (yay, comedic!) and they needn't hear my song because they said obviously, I can sing :D Just that they asked me to redo my Jacques line in Morgan Freeman style, monotonous and serious. So I did, and they asked me which one was better, the original which I did, or the Morgan Freeman style? I answered the one which I did, because I based it on a video I watched in Youtube and it was an expressive scene, so I suppose it would be better like that because I felt it sends the message across clearer.

Then we discussed about schedule and if I'm okay with tons of swearing if I do get involved. I said I won't say it unnecessarily, but I'm practically immune to it.

And sadly, I couldn't do the group audition because Ashraf came in and said that the next fella was only coming half an hour later and said that I'm free to go. I wouldn't know if this would jeopardize my chances or anything but yeah, couldn't do anything la. So I had to leave.

Looked at my watch, saw that it was about 5.30. Had to rush back for Battle of the Bands at Sunway Pyramid!

So me and Shaun walked all the way out of the park and to the station. Chatted about stuff and all, it was a good time catching up with him. Boarded the train, he stopped at Sentral, exchanged pleasantries, I stopped at Subang Jaya. It was about 6.40 when I arrived. Took the mini bus that was waiting to Pyramid.

Reached at about 7. Called Dan to check where is he and the rest. Panted and walked a long way from the lion's head to the Orange Entrance. I was sweating profusely when I arrived, luckily I brought spare clothes along. Asked the guys to hold on to my stuff first while I changed.

Came back. STARVINGGG D: went to eat with Timothy and Audrey, ended up at Subway, saw Jordan, Rachel and Daryl there. Joined them. Ordered sandwich. Omnomnomnom. Chatted and laughed. Wandered around Pyramid because it was still early. Left to the entrance at about 9.30 to watch some shows. Met a lot of familiar faces there, just like Results Day again hoho ;O And yeah, while waiting, socialized with old friends and such; good times, good times :)

An Honest Mistake! They were goooooooood :)

Kaki Dilemma's turn. SHOUTING AND SCREAMING ZOMGBBQ well it was mostly our guys, so yeah xD it was fun being around these bunch of whackos. Then there was this other group, I think they were gonna start a mosh pit of something. SO SCARYYY. But nobody joined them, and so they syoik sendiri la.

Waited for results. Results, Kaki Dilemma has no placing. Not even third. When the judges talked about originality, our faces just changed. Because Kaki played covers. Hmmm.

After the announcement, all of us went to where Kakis was, hugged them, comforted them, consoled them; it was really tough for them. But hey, they had fun. I'm sure that prizes are immaterial, it's the memories that counts, yes?

One Red Paperclip were 2nd runner ups.

One Third Symphony were 1st runner ups.

A Sausage Named Bob were the winners. What's with the singulars?

The Kakis are amazing. To see them gather together, albeit in different colleges, to perform for this gig, even though not winning it, was seriously epic. I may not be part of it to feel what they feel, but from the way they are they way I see them; dammit I feel so privileged to be buddies with them. I'm so proud of these guys, I really am.

Haih, Wednesday is my day to not eat lunch properly. Not that I don't want to eat properly, I CAN'T even if I want to! :( First, I have class from 8-10, then I have an hour break till I start again at 11. I usually don't eat during that hour's break because I had breakfast prior and I'm usually sick of McDs by Wednesday :P

Then, I will have a break from 12.30-2. During this time, me and Rachel would go for choir practices, therefore forgoing lunch. But today the buses feel damn bitchy, dunno why it's late, so we didn't go la.

CMD called us to go do donkey work, just when I thought I was free again DX

*sigh*

This is what I had for 'lunch':

- A pack of Twiggies I found while wandering in Giant

- A cup of home-made soya milk, which is freakishly sweet, that was graciously given by a fellow CMD donkey
(actually it was given to someone else who didn't want it, so I took it out of the refusal :P)

- A piece of banana fritter by the kind and quiet CMD lady working behind my cubicle

- Sips of water from here and there

...and I like someone from college. HEEHEE x)

I'm doing origami, so I have absolutely NO idea how to write the process without the diagrams :S I actually used the animation to teach me how to fold! :P Maybe I'll try wording it in a comprehensible manner that even a blind Belgian nun can do it.

It's was actually kinda spontaneous as I actually planned to do it at my regular express hairdresser at night. I had an hour break after my first class so I thought I'd use that time to do my haircut somewhere in Bangsar.

So we did. But we fail because the only salon at BSC was A Cut Above and it's 80 bucks for a senior hairstylist :O And with me being kiamsiap I wouldn't wanna chop my hair off for the price of 2 T-Shirts (i am calculative). Instead we went to this bakery where they had really nice bread and bought pastries and buns. Really worth it! :)

But I still did cut my hair, after I ended class at 2. Went to BV and BV2 with Millie just to look around at salons. And yes, I didn't go to any of them. Again my cheapness xD I was hoping to find one that charges around 30-35 (that's the max I would pay for a haircut, just a haircut) but all of them are about double the price ;(

So I settled for an express cut =X

Heh, I mean why do guys need so ex haircut, rite? RITE? :D

Kay, anyways, as some of you know, I hadn't been cutting my hair since August last year? That's about 6-7 months and each strand of my hair was about 6 inches, especially the fringes. Until lately I realised I was looking like a hobo with my long hair so to cover my shame, I put on a beanie wherever I go. Good cover up, but not for long la. I really need to get rid of my fringes, just for a change.

So I went to the shop, little hidden one at the back of the floor in BV. The hairdresser snipped it really fast and huge chunks of hair was falling off from me to the floor. It was horror! D: And he was really chatty. No, bitchy. Yea, talking with your wife behind about your family life while cutting my hair (he occasionally stops and talk! O_O) is more important, ha? Thank God it was just 15 bucks or I wouldn't slapped him for stalling too long. That may not be a good idea, actually.

Yesh, I iz very exhausted today. Open Day at college from 10-5 ;O Sigh, donkey work as usual. Apart from that, had fun socializing around and such :)

Oh, and today there was a talk scheduled today about economic crime by this lady. No one came to her talk so me and other ~~donkeys~~ SASA peeps went in and entertained her instead la. She started talking and talking about stuff...

At one point I had the urge to fall asleep but I can't because I was in the first row. Not nice ma.

Then I realized the lady was a nerd. =X

Seriously, nerd ladies still exist? Just a while before that during lunch break this lady was talking about sex and private parts and stuff like that. I SWEAR, she is a middle-aged woman and she does not mince her words. Even gave us a piece of advice what to do when we have girlfriends and she's having a period O_O Had a fun time laughing la :D

And yes, I'm afraid I'll turn out to be a nerd man. Like those people working in a cubicle for an IT company or something like that? Mmm, that's nerdy, and a scary thought too D:

Mmm, the funniest thing happened in the bus today. I was REALLY famished so I bought a Sundae from McDonalds while waiting for the bus. It's was fuggin' HOT I swear I was rushing to finish it. Luckily the bus came soon and I boarded so I could eat in my own time. As I was whopping it away, sitting directly opposite me was some Malay dude and he was EYING my sundae as if it was some hot Malay babe I'm indulging on. I noticed with the corner of my eye but never paid much attention to it, and continued whopping away. 10 seconds later I looked up, and he was STILL STARING at my sundae. Seriously, are these government workers so deprived of food? Even the illegal immigrants get leftover mamak food D: I kept on whopping FASTER and FASTER cuz it's really weird the way he's staring at my sundae. I can really see that he has been staring, practically the whole time, with the corner of my eye.

In my haste, I dropped my sundae ;O

Luckily it was almost finish so no mess was created :D The staring man noticed and decided to look away and down. Hmph, irresponsible! =X

Wokay, so I had my second Near-Death-Experience in my whole life today. I think all of us should have some NDE once in a while. It really does gears you up for the whole day! :P

Mmm, so this is how it goes. I came back from college after a hectic Monday today (well, not so hectic cuz I went with Sarah, Rachel and Millie for eyebrow threading. I, of course, didn't do it but I'm just AMAZED at what a thread could do! Haha, ulu-ness) As I changed into my shorts I turned on the air-con and the fan at maximum speed, cuz that's what I always do to properly ventilate the coolness. Then I went to the kitchen to make my IndoMee, just microwave the noodles for a good 6 minutes.

I proceeded to my TV, putting on 'How I Met Your Mother' DVD and just watched a while waiting for the microwave bell. The fan was squeaking.

It was all along squeaking since about a month ago, just that my parents are reluctant to check and change if needed. Somehow, the idea of a fan dropping from the ceiling randomly is too ridiculous for them too stomach.

They stood corrected.

So I heard the bell, went and did my mee, and came back to watch. Now, let me point out that my usually trend of eating while watching is laying on the couch with my back straight up, so I can digest properly. But today, for reasons unknown, I sat on the corner of the sofa, which makes me nearer to the TV. Hmm, I dunno, just felt like it I suppose =X

Immediately, the was a loud crash on the table. Things flew and broke, it was a mess on the floor. I turned to the right and I saw my ceiling fan. MY CEILING FAN. It took me about 5 seconds to digest what was going on, and then I thought 'Oh, the fan fell.' LYK SRSLY. I was stoning o_O

The whole fan didn't fall, just the spinning part only. Still I was in shock. Can you imagine if I laid down and reclined instead? I would have a blade in my stomach and be in the ICU now or God knows what.

Surprisingly though, the table didn't break. Not even a scratch. I guess it was because all the New Year cookies containers scattered around the table might've cushioned the blow. But all the 'ping kan' penyet/crushed already. My love letters! :(

I didn't know what to do so I just kept on eating and watching, cuz I was lazy to clean up then. After that, I cleaned up, moved the fan away, wiped the table and arranged back the stuff then plopped on the sofa for a long nap, only with the air-con. :)

As I was lying down there, I was thinking back through what just happened. I'm ALIVE. If I had done what had been doing, I wouldn't be here blogging about this. And why didn't the fan sway when it fell? As I've said earlier I put the fan speed at it's max, so it was spinning at 8269823982 Hertz, i think. xD Yet when it fell, it didn't sway away! Ask any physics student, they would tell you that if you stand directly under the fan in maximum speed and it fell, you won't get hurt because the fan will sway to another direction due to it's INERTIA. So if you stand like outside the circumference of the fan, you can say bye-bye to your head. D:

But it didn't happen as such. The fan dropped directly below and the blades stopped moving. One of the blades was near my ass where I sat, so imagine Calvin without an ass the next day. Sad rite? D: All I can say it was because of God's grace la. Things like this don't happen everyday, and I, being scientific and logical, try very hard to argue a point that's scientifically untrue and impossible. But yes, God's grace comes in weird ways :D

Also in reference to his grace is the timing of that incident. It could've happened any other time, like when my whole family's watching TV at night, or when we have relatives and friends over, or when my GRANDMA's around (gawrsh, that wouldn't be good, since she always lays down on the sofa, nevertheless that incident by itself is good enough for heart palpitations). Maybe God decided that 'Hmm, I suppose I'll mess with Calvin today. Better him that waiting for the whole family together' xD I kid, God.

I told my parents about it, and they said 'Well, luckily we weren't there.' o_O In a jokingly manner, duhhh. Something to share in their Home Fellowship, hmm?

I swear that this will be my testimony for ANY of my church functions, if needed xD I probably should give penance to God, no? Maybe do missions or something. After all, he saved my life the second time ;D

P.S I've found my blogomojo again! :) Hopefully it'll last, for now xD

To those who know, I was in a bad mood yesterday.
Actually I was in a better mood earlier after seeing the Taylor's kids.
It's nice to see them after a while, though it was only 3 kids I met yesterday
and introduced to some new people.
And looking at them hour after hour outside,
one bunch comes out, another one goes back in.
Some told me the timetable's pretty strict.
It's probably good for them I guess, building character and responsibility and what not.
It just got me thinking and appreciating more of my current time at HELP.
Not that I'm looking down at Taylor's or anything.
But prior to that, I was already frustrated with how certain things
are run in my college,
I realized that we're actually more lax than them
and probably better at certain things too.
Just the thoughts from the top of my head.
This may be a very vague statement but hey, that's how I felt when I first saw them.
I wouldn't mind being proved wrong about this.

And yeah, the bad mood came
when I went for my first driving licence.
I dunno about you, but even though it may be my first lesson
I'm already kinda frustrated at how I just can't seem to get used to the technicalities.
And I also didn't want to let my instructor down, but I think I did =/
So yeap, after my lesson I was basically frustrated and moody about it.

And we know what frustration can lead to.
This may not apply to everyone, but to me, it leads to certain issue being played up.
Like for me yesterday;
and I'll be honest here.
I dislike overly Chinese people.
Especially the oysters
which I find them VERY annoying
and sometimes, very LOA.
Especially their English! ;O
And I admit it, I cannot stand people without a reasonably good command of English.
I mean, come on man! You're already 18/19/20!
I don't expect much but at least I want a good conversation with them.
This has been a peeve of mine for quite a long time,
and yesterday's moody-ness probably made it worse.

KUALA TERENGGANU: The state government will introduce a “1Toilet” policy in a move to liberalise education, where teachers – and even principals – will soon have to share toilets with their students.

There is something quite pressing that I must make clear immediately.

I am afraid I am going to have to take that cupcake. That cupcake with the red-colored frosting. The one with the soft, fluffy cake and the white-paper wrapper. Yes, the cupcake that is virtually indistinguishable from the 16 to 20 other cupcakes around me at this time.

This is the sole cupcake I have singled out. Granted, it happened to be the first to enter my field of vision as I came in the room.

The cupcake situated in that location is the cupcake of my desire. The one at which I am at this moment intently staring. That is the cupcake that I will shortly be removing from its wrapper and consuming. The sooner you grasp the reality of this, the easier it will be for all of us.

While the cupcake in question is not, at this time, officially "mine," I wish to make it known, in no uncertain, vague, or ambiguous terms, that under absolutely no circumstances will anyone other than myself be eating that cupcake.

And, yes, this remains true regardless of anyone else's opinions, plans, or intentions vis-à-vis the cupcake and the eating of the cupcake. These are the facts as they stand. I fully intend to make that cupcake there exclusive to my own ingestion, and I can only hope to convey the extreme level of urgency with which this statement is intended.

I am aware of the myriad arguments against my eating this cupcake. Yet I fail to see what any of these disputations have to do with me. No one understands better than me the complex yet inevitable future of that cupcake, with its multicolored sprinkles, as it pertains to my gullet.

Unfortunately, a compromise of any kind is not going to be a possibility at this point. For I am willing to undertake any task, move any mountain, do all within my power in heaven and earth, to lay my teeth into that specific tasty confection.

I am taking that cupcake.

And there's no conceivable series of events whereby anyone other than me is eating it.

I'm not referring to the white-powdered one, or that one over there with green frosting, or any other cupcake here or anywhere ever in the history of time. Rather, I am resolute and steadfast in my unblinking fixation on a very specific cupcake now almost within arm's reach, with a lopsided top and an appealing pile of crumbs surrounding it.

Undoubtedly, my plans do not include walking across the room to the box of cupcakes from whence this cupcake originally came. I want the red one. I do not care whether or not there are numerous red ones "exactly like it" in the aforementioned box. I am not interested in irrelevant information about other cupcakes. No, the truth is, that red cupcake that I previously indicated is the cupcake for me.

I do not want to hear about the cupcake place down the street that delivers. Nor do I wish to recall the cupcake from last week that was given me despite a friend's obvious eagerness to eat it herself. Those are entirely different, separate cupcakes that have no bearing on my relationship with the one in question, the one I have selected. Those are abstract cupcakes that, as of now, exist only in the mind—purely hypothetical cupcakes that have no constructive place in this scenario.

In no way are any personal dynamics, motivations, or animosities entering this equation. It is simply a matter over which no one has any control. The matter of the cupcake is not open to negotiation.

Now, on to the pressing matter of that tall, refreshing glass of milk.

Well right now, I refuse to be pigeonholed.

Once I thought social jurisprudence was all powerful. Turns out that I simply put myself at the bottom of the food chain. I'm not supposed to be there in the first place! Why did I let myself to be guided by the so called superior social beings?

Sadly, I regret realising this fact only in the end of my 5th year in high school, the social peak of my life. Is it too late to make a difference right now since there isn't a point in doing so? Ugh. Whatever, really. Right now, I simply am gonna be firm in everything I believe in. You may think it's wrong, morally of socially. But honestly, I don't care. Unless you put yourself in my shoes, just keep your gab shut. It's bad enough your minds spew with all those negatives. No wonder it's so controversial.

Cathaj has to admit; these past 1-2 weeks hasn't been comfortable for him. He can see it all develop around him, no matter how discrete things are. Oh yes, he can see it from their actions, hear it from behind the scenes; yep, practically nothing really ever escapes from him, as what most people thought otherwise. He also know of certain personas in the cohorts with these certain individuals. Until now, though this issue has been plaguing for a long period of time, he chose resilience, simply because getting back at people isn't the way he does things. Though deep down, he would be more than happy to crush and crumple them like the rubbish they are and toss them into the incinerator.

Has Cathaj been angry about certain events, people asked him? You bet he is! He was furious, in fact. And this isn't the only time too, not to mention. Yes, he has been angry a lot of times, stretching from the days of the first quarter of last year. He has never been calm before when such a thing like this arises. But it's all normal. It's nothing wrong to get upset; after all, it's encapsulated in our very own human nature. He's used to this already. He does not let the sun go down on his anger (well maybe it lasts for a few days, but that's it!), because he believes resilience pays. He thought to himself, 'this is going to happen many more times, especially towards the end of the year, so you might as well brace yourselves instead of being caught off-guard'. So he conditioned his mind. He created a mindset that will be appropriate for times like these. And so far, it has been working quite well.

He also changed his approach already. It's no longer very 'confrontational'. It's now back to smooth and subtle, as what he did early this year. He realised that once he starts to build his emotions, the slightest strike on it has caused a huge crack and it was hard to solidify it back again. Occasional chats on Friday nights and small talks too has also been reassuring for him. It's a slow, but sure process. And he has never felt better.

Because of this change, he has widen his choices. He feels more open with new things and not really narrow minded like before. But this does not mean he's given up. While he can see some people are taking joy from my 'sorrow', actually it's just themselves. It's simply trick after trick after trick. That's how the world revolves; deception. People seem to lust with this powerful tool. He can never understand the depth and length people can go to achieve what they want. Oh well.

So yes, laugh and be happy all you want. That's fine with him. Because he already knows.

Cathaj happens to be in such a dilemma, far more in magnitude compared to his previous one. An issue that can seriously change his life forever, as if not dramatizing enough; from the way he will live his life probably about 60 years down the road before he kicks the bucket, to how people will now look and think of him in his journey to kick the bucket, both good and bad. But to many, Cathaj thinks it will be bad.

Yes, this is about K.

As Cathaj deliberately pens down his blog post while leaving his Restaurant City in high hopes to achieve a bigger premise, he scans through his brains and thought pertaining to the issue being written. Enough of internet references. They are not people whom he know of personally. Having decided that, feedback from Cathaj's friends is imperative as they're the ones closer to him.

So happen people seem to ask him about it first instead of the other way around. Mr. W brought up the topic while we were just around somewhere. Hmm, most likely he was spurred by something in the moment but never mind. First of all, Mr. W isn't must a talker in this issue, as far as he is concerned, but good to know he still understands Cathaj. Cathaj basically told him what he recently found out a few days ago; Mr. W replied with 'Oh?'s' and 'Ahh's, maybe not so inquisitive about it since it's sensitive and all. It was something common in our conversations anyway, so Cathaj understands. Mr. W, since we're along the line of the topic about relationships, talked about his own share of experience. My my, was Cathaj amazed. He probably have not seen Mr. W so serious about something that he thinks is not serious about, but he is anyway, after having a failed one last time. It was quite interesting to hear him talk about these things. because he was really serious about it. Cathaj chuckled at his seriousness.

After his own story, Cathaj ask Mr. W a question about being honest to K. As Mr. W is iconcerned, it wasn't really the right question to ask him, let alone give an appropriate answer to Cathaj's question. Mr. W answer anyway, telling Cathaj to weight out what are the possible effects and repurcussions if he does it. The point is, that's what Cathaj has been doing all this while and he still is stuck in some dead end. But still he appreciates his answer, as it was honest from him. 'Just pray about it. Don't worry.' Hmmm, Cathaj wished he could just live by that quote, if it was that simple.

Mr. Y, however, gave Cathaj a few cautions and things that he should be more careful in. As I know of it, there has been suspicions going around here and there. Actually, Cathaj knows of it all, but as far as he is concerned, it's all hearsay. Mr. Y gave an open answer, saying that the choice is up to Cathaj himself. In whatever decisions, all Cathaj needs is the confidence of actually doing it and whether he can handle the possible damages that follow later. But as of now, he advised not to do anything more than ordinary. Unless Cathaj wished to fuel the fire utnil he's burnt with the scorch of society's perception. Interestingly, this was a follow up of a story which is quite related to this which Mr. Y told him about. It's interesting how K's appeal could reach overseas. Funny story, anyway.

Mr. X, on the other hand, was commited to see change in Cathaj. Cathaj was just obliging his efforts and thoughts, to be honest here. But that doesn't really mean he was absent of any hint of becoming different from what he is now. Both of them seemed to have debated this issues many times, in the internet, in school, emails, every other nook and cranny you could possibly think of. Cathaj empathised with Mr. X like seriously, but he just don't feel the need to respond to what he's been saying. Maybe it isn't time yet. Maybe he just couldn't. Maybe it's just him. Hmmmm, so many possibilities, how to analyse them one by one? Sheesh, it's just so confusing. Because of Mr. X, Cathaj just popped in a whole lotta questions filled with maybe's, but apparently the defininte answer is yet to be found. But it was interesting though, to see how determined and passionate someone is to something, that maybe we're supposed to do something, but end up with nothing.

And so yes, Cathaj has made a final decisions. In full awareness right now, as long as his mind and heart permits him, nothing will be said and done in order to not play up speculations and nonsense around. But that doesn't mean Cathaj is not doing it; he's just holding it back now. He has come to understand his current situation now and it would be unwise to have a big issue like this being spread and blown into proportions. The mental and psychological pain will be too hard to bear, what more with more important things ahead to attend to. It's just until sometime the end of the year, when everything's is done and over with. Then maybe they can have a chat over a dinner or whatever that's suitable and Cathaj will explain the whole 5-year long issue in great detail. He can only hope and pray for understanding and nothing more when that eventful day comes.

Until then, it's business as usual but toned down a bit for Cathaj. In the meantime, he is hunting for those people who has nothing better to do but just picking on people's personal life. You better watch out.

Heh, I can't say much about this awesome guy who has definitely been a wonderful friend to me. I can still remember during Form 1 prayer meeting when you were climbing onto the poles and started hanging around literally, and everyone was in a state of awe or worried-because-you-might-fall. That didn't really changed 5 years later.

To sum it up, all I can say that I respect him a lot, in terms of his spiritual walk and lifestyle to which I shamely compare with mine being lousy and weak, haha. God will definitely bless him in the future, I believe. So, happy birthday, Jo! I'm sure you were touched with our surprise party (hinthint haha!) and please forgive me for any wrongs I did towards you (i.e. lipstick attack). :D

I think it's about time I say this.

I should come clean with issue that has been bothering me all this while.

It has been years since I've last met you.

You don't know how much I've been dreaming of meeting you ever since the last time we were together.

I remembered the first time when I met you in Atria, it was love at first sight.

You might not be as presentable as everyone else nor as famous as they are, but to me, you're the most beautiful one of all.

Every single part of you spelled "yummy" in my head.

I couldn't resist myself from drooling every time I see you.

Then one day I brought you home with me.

It was heaven!

Back to some writing.

I probably just shamed myself these past 3 weeks. Not in terms of exams or what not, but in terms of my personal well-being. Although this has happen many times before and I still didn't take heed of anything, this time it hit me like a brick while I fell down the stairs. The latter is true.

Let's just put this in a third-person manner. Cathaj personally had been thinking about the talk a teacher gave quite recently. Although this isn't the first talk he had since 'No Apologies' came during Form 1, he was quite perturbed by some revelations revealed during the talk. But all Cathaj did was kept quiet and just kept a personal discussion with his friend beside.

But that didn't stop there. Cathaj was seriously giving some thoughts about it as somwhere deep down inside him, he feels a hint of conviction. So it was Wednesday after Kesatria when Cathaj would walk back home with Mr. W because they live nearby. So while they were walking back, Cathaj brought up the subject that he was being bugged with. He ask whether Mr. W had the talk, which he did. And after that Cathaj asked him how he felt about it. It appears to him that Mr. W was a very frank person. He revealed to Cathaj the problems he had when he was younger, similar to the one Cathaj was having now. But with the guidance of the Spirit, Mr. W managed to overcome it. Today, he is proud to say that he is free from this problem.

Cathaj was shcoked. He would never imagine Mr. W would be ensnared by this same problem. What shocked him even more was, he was free from it! Cathaj was in a surprised state, as similar people like him whom Cathaj talked to also had this problem, and it seems that it has become somewhat a ruotine, like eating or sleeping. It's natural to them. But at Mr. W's case, Cathaj was in awe. How can someone overcome this problem so fast, he thought to himself.

But really, Mr. W said, it's about your willpower, whether you're willing to right your wrongs or not. He also had a help from a book he was given to read, and it struck him to change. Can a book do that? Cathaj's curiousity was fuelled. By this time he was certain of getting rid of his problem once and for all. Mr. W offered to lend his book to Cathaj. So a few days later, Cathaj borrowed Mr. W's book in exchange for some effective studying materials. And so Cathaj delved into the contents of the book with determination.

He was struck, just as how Mr. W was struck.

With all that was being revealed in the book, Cathaj felt the conviction. It felled on him like an ax to his neck. Since that moment of opening the book, Cathaj managed to drive his problem away. He was so happy, amazed, surprised, joyful, any other adjective he could think of, he was feeling it. Is this it? Did I overcome it? He was very convinced after a few days that he has won the battle between himself and his mind, which was the source of his problem. When Mr. W asked him how was his progress with the book, he was filled with excitement until words cannot be utter much, but a face filled with satisfaction gleamed. He was very thankful for Mr. W for if it wasn't because of the talk he had on the way home, he'd never had found such an amazing remedy for his problem that plagued him for about half of his 17 years of age. He was so happy he told his achievement to Mr. X, whom he talked about his problem prior to Cathaj's discovery of the wonderbook. Mr. X was also having the same problem, but not as bad as Cathaj had it. Still, Mr.X feels conviction and has kept his problem on the minimal, but not wiped out totally. Mr. X had also gave suggestions to Cathaj on how to overcome his problem but to Cathaj that time, it was kind of easier said than done. Still, Cathaj accepted and was willing to try Mr. X's suggestion out of goodwill. Maybe because of that it didn't really worked on him, or some other reason he does not know.

Cathaj was telling him about how the wonderbook helped him so much in realising his mistakes that led him to his problem, Mr. X was also proud of him for overcoming his problem. He also said that there's someone up there who's proud of him too. And Cathaj feels it too. Cathaj feels that he has finally has the authority to control himself and with the help of a supernatural being, was able to deter the problem.

He felt so...free. Free from his bondages.

That lasted until a stray thought ran across his mind.

That stray thought was good enough to send enough stimuli for Cathaj's problem to resurface again. This time, it was bigger and badder. He knew this was coming. Yet he gave in. Why? He's too weak. He cannot even last a week. He lacks the willpower to curb his problem that will slowly but surely come back to haunt and toture him again.

After that day, Cathaj was back to where he was, hampered and burden with this problem. Again, he has fallen from grace. He was ashamed and chastised himself for being a slave to the problem. What's worse, he had let people down; Mr. W, Mr. X, and the man upstairs.

Cathaj dare not to open up his problem again to Mr. W, so he told Mr. X about it. Mr. X consoled him saying that shit happens. But when it happens we shouldn't give up, and strive on. Again the subject on willpower, of which Cathaj dreads simply because he fails in it. Cathaj also told Mr. X that Mr. X was somehow inside his problem for whatever reasons. To his horror, Mr. X was berated and felt disgusted. He quickly offered solutions in order to rid himself from Cathaj's problems. Cathaj politely declined his gestures because he knows that it will go away soon. And it did. Mr. X was no longer there. But his problem remains.

Cathaj then asked Mr. Y for his opinion. Although he is like Mr. W, he still is encountering this similar problem. But to him, it wasn't a problem, or he doesn't treat it as one. Mr. Y regards it as normal for him as it is with everyone else. Mr. Y likes to think it from the health point of view. Cathaj was puzzled. Health? To Cathaj it wasn't a health matter, since it was of a higher intensity compared to Mr. Y's. And yes, to Mr. Y, what Cathaj is facing right now is probably unhealthy. But the problem is Cathaj did not like to think of it as something healthy. It has something to do with his pride and integrity and how it can affect him in the future.

He sought another person's opinion, Mr. Z, who from the outer appearance seems to keep a good record of himself. Cathaj wasn't convinced. He intends to dig some information from Mr. Z, to see if he also face this similar problem. To his surprise, Mr. Z was totally clean from dirt. Okay, maybe a little bit of dirt during Form 1 but that was it. He has never had this problem before. Cathaj was shocked; he was a good boy after all! But then how can Cathaj ask for advice when he never experienced it before in the first place?

Cathaj was now left by himself, aimlessly thinking how is he able to rid himself of this mess he created? He thought of telling Mr. W, but he just can't. His shame barriers him. He thought of telling Mr. W whenever he sees him, yet he couldn't. He tried telling when it was just the twom of them, yet he couldn't. He tried telling whenever Mr. X's name pops online, yet he couldn't even start talking, sometimes too afraid to even double-click his name. And this went on for days and days. Cathaj just puts on his usual face whenever he sees him, no hint of the problem or whatsoever, then he just rot inside, simply because he's too ashamed. He's let down the person whom he promised to change, but he didn't. Do you know the feeling when you do something for someone hoping that he/she will be able to do it by themselves, and after that they take it for granted and you are left dissapointed? Yes, Cathaj was afraid that would happen. Although he knows Mr. W all to well for him not to respond in the way, somewhere in the bottom of his heart he will definitely feel it. Cathaj disappointed his friend.

Cathaj has finished reading the wonderbook already. He knows the inside out of the book well and how to apply it in his life. Now he begins to forget it slowly. He wants to pick up the book again and read it, but a voice in Cathaj's mind tells him all the pleasure he has felt from this problem. It felt very good, didn't it?, the voice said. Cathaj agrees. It did felt really good. It was the perfect getaway after a morning filled with exams and whatnot. It was a stress reliever to Cathaj. So why should he stop? A small voice in the other side said, 'No! Exam is a lame excuse! You should and must have the will to change, then you will get better! Do not condition yourself to certain things that can get you ensnared soon enough! Keep the faith, you can definitely do it!' The voice was soft, but Cathaj hears it, understands it. But what did he do in the end? He enjoyed himself in his snare. Cathaj was like a mustang, running around in the bountiful fields of green, doing anything he likes with nothing to stop him.

As Cathaj realises his problem now in this period of time of consciousness as he blogs, before he is ensnared again, he prays deeply in his heart that he will discipline himself and maintain it. He prays for courage and wisdom to counter his problem so that his integrity is free from blemishes. He prays for a corral for his mustang mind, a better understanding of the depth of his problem. He prays that he will not let down Mr. W and his goodwill and for a friend he is to Cathaj.

As of now, Cathaj intends to reread the wonderbook again until he finally gets it and changed. Cathaj apologizes to Mr. W for being in possession of his book for a long time, but probably he'll understand, as that's Mr. W's character.

It's exam period. You've literally buried your head in books and probably won't go to toilet without one. You're trying to figure out what the heck is Coordinate Geometry. You don't know how to explain a Redox Reaction in rusting. You memorize the Transpiration experiment which have 21 friggin steps. You make signs of Maxwell's, Fleming's, Faraday's and Lenz's laws with your hand, but you're not sure why. You memorize Moral values as if it's the code to the National Treasury.

Just when you're having enough crap, some jerk had to come and bug you with stupid questions, or showing off whatever he/she has, or complaining how good/bad his/her day was or anything that's totally irrelevant and annoying. The pressure mounts on you.

You're tempted to swear or say something of crude language in different dialects, but you're aware of the guilt trips that come soon after. Below are some phrases which might prove handy, depending on your situation. No guarantees here. Knock yourself out. :)

Since I have uber free time yesterday, I did some shopping.

Yes, men shop. Just like you females for shoes and bags or cheap accessories at Simma.

But men like me shop for fx(effects)!

So far I can confidently say that this effect is a value for money buy:

It's distortion packs quite a punch even though its the little brother of the Metal Muff family. One touch scary fuzz. Slag simplicity.
Awesome mid control with just a flick on the switch. xD
It's so small and cute! Its about the size of your palm, so versatile is there. Also, its size makes it very pedal-board friendly, if I do construct one in the future. Who says metal ain't cute?

Both Dan and Si Khay said I need to get an AC adapter for home usage so I don't makan so much battery. I ask the Bentley dude and the price he said dropped my jaw: RM90. -_- Even DigiTech's is RM85. -_-

So he suggested to me that I could use simply any other adapter to power it up. Since I'm in the area I dropped by ACE Hardware at Ikano and got me a simple adapter.

Guess how much? RM20! :OOOOOO

I'm looking for God if it doesn't work. Jeng jeng jeng.

Since I'm STILL in the area, I dropped by Tesco to get me some cheap 9Vs and a input jack adapter.

Cost me around RM5.

...and this, for usage I've not thought of yet, for RM2.

So in conclusion, I spent around 310+49+20+5+2 = RM386.

See? It's all about financial management. Heh.

Pagi itu pagi minggu. Cuaca cukup sejuk sehingga mencapai takat suhu beku. Sebab itu saya tidak mandi pagi sebab air kolah jadi air batu dan air paip tidak mahu keluar sebab beku di dalam batang paip. Pagi itu saya bersarapan dengan keluarga di dalam unggun api kerana tidak tahan sejuk. Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya menemaninya ke pasar. Tetapi saya tidak mahu.
Selepas emak menikam perut saya berkali-kali dengan garfu barulah saya bersetuju untuk mengikutnya. Kami berjalan sejauh 120 kilometer kerana pasar itu letaknya 128 kilometer dari rumah. Lagi 8 kilometer nak sampai pasar saya ternampak sebuah lori kontena meluru dengan laju dari arah belakang.
Dia melanggar emak saya. Emak saya tercampak ke dalam gaung. Dia menjerit “Adoi!”. Lepas itu emak saya naik semula dan mengejar lori tersebut. Saya pun turut berlari di belakang emak saya kerana takut emak saya melanggar lori itu pula. Pemandu lori itu nampak kami mengejarnya. Dia pun memecut lebih laju iaitu sama dengan kelajuan cahaya. Kami pula terpaksa mengejar dengan lebih laju iaitu sama dengan dua kali ganda kelajuan cahaya. Emak saya dapat menerajang tayar depan lori itu. Lori itu terbabas dan melanggar pembahagi jalan lalu bertembung dengan sebuah feri. Feri itu terbelah dua.
Penumpang feri itu yang seramai 100 orang semuanya mati. Pemandu feri itu sangat marah. Dia pun bertukar menjadi Ultraman dan memfire pemandu lori. Pemandu lori menekan butang khas di dalam lori dia..lori itu bertukar menjadi robot Transformer. Mereka bergaduh di udara. Emak saya tidak puas hati. Dia pun terus menyewa sebuah helikopter di Genting
Highlands dan terus ke tempat kemalangan. Dia melanggar pemandu feri yang telah bertukar menjadi Ultraman itu.
Pemandu feri itu terkejut dan terus bertukar menjadi pemandu feri semula lalu terhempas ke jalanraya. Pemandu feri itu pecah. Pemandu lori sangat takut melihat kejadian itu. Dia meminta maaf dari emak saya. Dia menghulurkan tangan ingin bersalam. Tetapi emak saya masih marah. Dia menyendengkan helikopternya dan mengerat tangan pemandu lori itu dengan kipas helikopter. Pemandu lori itu menjerit “Adoi..!” dan jatuh ke bumi. Emak say menghantar helikopter itu ke Genting Highlands. Bila dia balik ke tempat kejadian, dia terus memukul pemandu lori itu dengan beg tangannya sambil memarahi pemandu lori itu di dalam bahasa Inggeris.
Pemandu lori itu tidak dapat menjawab sebab emak saya cakap orang putih. Lalu pemandu lori itu mati. Tidak lama kemudian kereta polis pun sampai. Dia membuat lapuran ke ibu pejabatnya tentang kemalangan ngeri itu. Semua anggota polis di pejabat polis itu terperanjat lalu mati. Orang ramai mengerumuni tempat kejadian kerana ingin mengetahui apa yang telah terjadi. Polis yang bertugas cuba menyuraikan orang ramai lalu dia menjerit menggunakan pembesar suara. Orang ramai terperanjat dan semuanya mati.
Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya ke pasar untuk mengelak lebih ramai lagi yang akan mati. Di pasar, emak saya menceritakan kejadian itu kepada penjual daging. Penjual daging dan peniaga-peniaga berhampiran yang mendengar cerita itu semuanya terkejut dan mati. Saya dan emak saya terus berlari balik ke rumah. Kerana terlalu penat sebaik saja sampai di rumah kami pun mati. Itulah kemalangan yang paling ngeri yang pernah saya lihat sebelum saya mati.

After hearing Si Khay got his own wah, it has dawned upon me that I need to catch up. See what peer pressure does to you?

Anyway, as of now, I have a sudden influx of RM500 and right now I'm contemplating on getting my first (yes, my VERY first) guitar effects for my Ibanez. So I need some good suggestions with certain criteria; price, value for money, availability, and the stock exchange rate in Singapore. Yes, it is THAT cheap there compared to here. My sifus, Daniel and Si Khay, suggested me to first get a Little Big Muff or a Crybaby.

So how now? Fuzz or wah? FUZZ OR WAH? I welcome any other suggestions too, provided it meets the criteria. If not, well, just ramble it out anyway.
